I have to admit that I am extremely happy with how easy it was to go to my local Honey Baked Ham store and pre-order a catering event.  I opted to go in, and do pick up for the next day instead of delivery.  I made it extremely easy for them.  I first checked online to see what would be ideal for a nice snackable Superbowl Spread.  I added everything to the check out cart, but I printed it, and brought it in store with me.  There was no wait, Both counters were open, and even while ordering, others were coming in and being seated at the restaurant side by different employees.  I asked for them to call me when it was ready.  They did the very next day, almost as soon as they opened.  I was impressed.  

(I wanted to check the place out too.)

Inside the Honey Baked Ham Location on Sawmill Rd, Columbus, Ohio blew me away.  As you walk in to the right of you is a little sitting area.  Then inside is a refrigerated section with Salads, Sandwiches, Sodas, Bacon, Cold Hams, and Turkeys.  Displays for Jams, Honey, Mustards and Sweets all through out the store. I am glad I went in, instead of just ordering online or by phone. To the left of me was a little cafe/restaurant that you could sit down, and order to eat.  I had no clue Honey Baked Ham was like this inside.  I know a lot of people think it's just Hams, but, Oh No! It's so much more.

The Food is by far 100000x even better than it looks, and it looks Amazing.  I ran out of room on my plate. My over all impression is, Why have I never tried them before!!? I've talked to a lot of people that thought like I did, that it was just Spiral Sliced Hams, and Whole Turkeys when it's not just that. A lady that was being helped beside me was ordering a boneless turkey, with a side dish, that came to $16.00.  It was some special in store promotion they were doing.  I've already told my husband I want to go back, and order soup, and a salad. Also I was suckered the first trip, and bought Sassafras Root Beer.  I'm a sucker for good root beer in glass bottles.

Does Rheumatoid Arthritis run in your family? It does in mine.

I found out what bone pain felt like when I separated my tibia plateau from my tibia, and fractured down. Since Rheumatoid Arthritis runs in my family (My father suffers from it.) I was told by my Orthopedic doctor that either Arthritis, or Rheumatoid Arthritis is in my future. There are days I feel like my body is attacking itself, and every joint hurts. But, also because my knee has an Open Reduction Fixature in it, along with Cadavers that bend to 90 degrees so I can still walk without assistance, I feel the bone on bone, and swelling. I do believe a diet, and exercise is a must. I refuse to give up, there are way too many things to try to make life still livable. Right now I am on a Fat Free diet, no caffeine, and no tea because I was just hospitalized for pancreatitis. I "flex" my knee's daily, and stretch when I wake up every morning or I get what I call "marsh mellow foot." Even if you are young, and you are experiencing bone pain, you should bring this up to your doctors. I also believe in taking vitamins. You may think you are eating enough nutrients, but if your body is attacking itself, those nutrients may not even make it where they are supposed to. Because of Health Problems, I've had to stop drinking any kind of carbonated sodas/water, coffee, and barely any tea (oh how I could drink coffee, and tea all day.) Now I drink mostly water, and might reward myself with tea once a week or so.  Which really isn't a bad thing.  Water is extremely critical for all life.  I would also rather give my 2 year old water when he is thirsty than overly sugar juices, and drinks.  It's not because I have anything really against it, but I just know all that is needed when you are thirsty, is water.

This is when that No Fear Mentality will come handy.

To get Sy excited about being on the potty we also kept the Monsters U theme going by making some cookies as a treat.  I am proud of him for even sitting on the potty without throwing a fit. I also have a surprise for him when he uses the potty for the first time.  It hasn't happened yet, but I have been watching him like a mama hawk, and ready to put him on the toilet when I see him stop to go (This kid is always on the go, and into something.)

Baby Buds Eco Friendly Toy Review!

Autumn loves her Baby Buds Toys so much.  Her favorite is the Monkey blanket, it's also a hand puppet.  It was kissing her sweet baby cheeks, and she would smile at it.

I also noticed how soft, and light Baby Buds baby toys are.  That made me feel safe allowing her to play with them. The Owl Bowl rattles like bells, and has velkro that can be used to attach to things like strollers, musical mobiles, and car seat carriers.  The owl rattler has little ball that rattle, its cute but she isn't old enough to hold it yet.  The Monkey blanket is her favorite so far.  She's old enough to pet the monkey, and have it kiss her chubby cheeks.

JENNIE-O Turkey Pastrami with Eggplant! So Delicious! Easy Recipes!

Switch To Turkey!

When you think of JENNIE-O Turkey what comes to come?? Do you think about Turkey Burgers? Turkey Ham? Pastrami? That is where my mind goes.  I absolutely adore the JENNIE-O Turkey Store Website.

I have a hard time digesting red meat, so I went to turkey instead.  My favorite is the JENNIE-O Turkey Pastrami.  It comes in whole chunks, and you can cut into slices yourself.

This was an extremely easy meal.  I just cut the turkey pastrami up,  lightly fried (It's already seasoned, and covered in pepper.)

I also fried up some Eggplant in almond flour (2 tsp pepper, 2 tsp of garlic powder, 2 tsp of season all.) I then dip the sliced eggplant into egg whites (I like to add dried onions to the eggwhites.)

While frying,  the oil should be HOT,  I don't turn the oil down to medium-high til the eggplants already breaded and ready to go in.

Together, this meal, along with some wine was perfect.  The Pastrami was moist, and seasoned perfectly.  I just like to blacken a little in a cast iron frying pan, and make the outside crispy.

I really liked the Garlic & Vegan Cheese Kale Chips that came in my Boxtera Box.  They were crunchy, perfectly seasoned, and my husband and I fought over these.  I did not want to share.  

The Baked SeaWeed was also a hit.  This was my husbands favorite from out the box so far.  We are snacking here and there, and have not tried something we did not like yet.  

While my 2 year old favorite were the Dehydrated Apple Chips, and Caveman Cookies.

Mothers Day Potted Yellow Rose Review

I am a huge fan of plants.  Especially ones delivered to me? Alive?? That aren't cut!! I absolutely adore.  Don't get me wrong, I love beautiful fresh cut flowers too, but to me.. the love behind getting something with roots.. is by far the best.  These were delivered to me from ProFlowers.

While browsing the flowers, I kept asking my 2 year old "What flowers do you want to pick out for Mommy?" While all the plants were beautiful, the selection of Mothers Day Plants is huge.

The  hard part really is choosing which one I liked the most!  I really wanted an Orchid too but I didn't know how that would turn out with grabby little toddler hands.  I still would love one! *hint hint anyone that reads this that loves me, hahaha*

Ordering was extremely easy.    After falling for the Potted Yellow Roses I then had the choose which container I wanted.  I could have just got the container it came with that was free with the plant.  Tho, soon as I saw the yellow roses, with the Victorian Tin I just had to have that one.
Check out was easy, I chose 3 days from the order date to have it shipped.  It costs more to ship the next day, and on weekends.  I'm fine with a few days.  To me that is fast! Shipping is usually around $15.00, but keep into consideration, you are picking when you want it shipped (shipping prices vary.) Mine were mailed fast and I didn't pay the extra for rush.

 It also comes with a care instruction card.  First was to take the packing moss out, and give the plant some water.  I sat mine on the counter where it would get some direct light.

Seriously, start to browse, and I am sure there are a few you'd want for your home, and to give as gifts.  It was actually my cousin Liz's birthday this month.  Since I didn't get myself the Orchid, I bought Liz the Teacup Orchid with Chocolates.  That's how beautiful I think these gifts really are.  It was delivered to her in Baltimore, Md the day before her birthday (I chose that day!)

I received these products for free to review for my website.  This is my first time trying Dr. Grapes aka Wayne Beckleys "Father Of Grape Seed Technology." 

I don't think I ever stopped to smell a red grape, let alone bought lotion that's main ingredients were grapes.  The first thing I noticed was the scent, the scent is not sweet at all.  It's just a light, refreshing smell.  The Body Butter is my favorite.  It was thick, and made my legs feel so smooth.  

The reason why my legs felt so smooth was because grape seed antioxidants are 50 times more powerful than Vitamin E and nearly 25 times more powerful than Vitamin C.

Wearing the Merlot Divine Perfume made me feel like an Egyptian Goddess.  Ever wonder why Egyptians and Greeks skin looked so good? They ate a lot of grapes,  and also used grape seed oil's for everything. Cooking, to bathing, even to herbal remedies.  They used grapes because it was kind to the skin, and wasn't overpowering.  

I like to use the Body Wash after working out. And, then I use the skin firmer.  I have lost a lot of weight lately, and I am always trying to keep my skin full of vitamins from every form available.  

Both the Lip Gloss (tastes like berries, very delicious,) and the Lip Moisturizer are in my purse.  Love how soft, and shiny they both make my lips.  The Berry Paradise Lip Gloss is pretty tasty.
